CREATIVE APPRENTICE: WARNER BROS DISCOVERY
Creative Apprentice at Warner Bros Discovery
💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
The Creative Apprentice will play a key role in supporting the Warner Bros. Discovery International Television Distribution Creative Services and Marketing team to ensure the success of all creative campaigns.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Support creative services and marketing team with creative and administrative work.
Asset management - supporting the London team and working closely with the servicing team in Burbank to source content for projects (photography, key art, title treatments, logos, episodes, clips, promos, etc.).
Operate CADMUS, our digital asset management system, ensuring files are organized and tagged with relevant metadata.
Handle creative requests such as video transcoding, trimming, and asset sourcing.
Ad hoc TV and Film research to support creative campaigns.
Support marketing with project work for global events and initiatives.
Opportunity to develop a broad range of creative skills from Photoshop to Premier Pro.

The Telegraph Media Literacy Programme 2025
💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
Is writing your thing? Do you constantly have a story buzzing around your head that you're desperate to tell or write down? The Editorial Trainee role is for people who love soaps – especially EastEnders - combined with a love for telling and writing.
The Editorial Trainee is an exciting year-long placement that sees the successful candidate given the opportunity to spend an initial six months working alongside the script team, before spending three months in the story office. After experiencing both worlds of script and story, the final three months of the year-long placement will be spent in either team, chosen by you!

This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend program for disabled people. (16-18 ONLY) JOURNALIST: THE TELEGRAPH MEDIA LITERACY PROGRAMME 2025
The Telegraph Media Literacy Programme 2025
💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
Online sessions with a range of journalists from departments across the business including news, sports, beauty, music, and social media. Each week, you will get the chance to practice skills such as headline writing, interviewing, and travel writing.
If you take part in all four sessions, you will receive a Telegraph Media Literacy Journalism Certificate. You will also have the option to join our future talent pool to stay up-to-date with entry-level opportunities at the Telegraph.
The Telegraph’s Media Literacy Programme provides an insight into what it’s like to be a journalist at an award-winning multimedia news brand. It highlights the importance of trusted and accountable news and equips you with some of the tools and skills to think critically about world events. The programme will help you understand the different roles in the newsroom and provide information on how to get a career in journalism.
💻 Who can apply?
The programme is open to 16-18-year-olds across the UK.
📅 Duration:
The online programme will run for four weeks, beginning on Tuesday 4th March 2025. Sessions will run from 4 - 5 pm every Tuesday.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FUND: BFI
BFI Research and Development Fund
💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
The BFI Doc Society RAD (Research and Development) Fund provides support of up to a maximum of £5,000 to first or second-time feature-length documentary directors or director/producer teams with a single feature documentary film in early development; or up to £10,000 to producers with more than one feature documentary film in early development with first or second-time feature-length documentary directors attached.
What we are looking to support
Bold creative non-fiction films and immersive projects
Projects in early stages of development but with a clear project outline and need for development support
Cinematic proposals with theatrical distribution intentions
What we are not looking to support
Films in late stages of development, production, or completion
Loose themes or subject explorations, that show no clear potential as a feature-length documentary or immersive work
Broadcast, or commercial productions
Series, installation pieces, and formats that are not intended for theatrical distribution
Films or immersive projects with existing financial resources to conduct research and development
The assessment of applications for this funding will focus strongly on the talent involved, their progression, their relationship to the story they are telling as well as the creative ambition of the feature documentary project itself.
We are focused on access and inclusivity to ensure that untold stories from across the English regions and Nations of the UK have the opportunity to be shared with as many audiences as possible. By championing underrepresented talent, we can help create a more diverse and inclusive film industry.
💻 Who can apply?
Directors and producers must be based in the UK, and projects (on completion of the final production).
Projects must be capable of qualifying for certification as a British film or immersive project, either through the applicable cultural test or as an official co-production. Read more information on British certification.
Applicants can apply either as an individual or through their UK-registered company.
To qualify the applicants must be either:
A first or second-time feature-length documentary director with a single film proposal. Directors can apply with or without a producer attached.
An emerging to mid-career producer with more than one feature documentary film in early development. Producers should have one or more first or second-time feature-length documentary directors attached if applying to multiple projects.
A team of producers and director with a single film proposal. One of the team should be designated as the lead applicant.
Applicants must evidence a good track record in their creative field

AWARDS: SONY WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS
Sony World Photography Awards - Open Competition
💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
This competition is open to anyone who will be submitting single images taken in 2024. There are ten diverse categories to enter and you can enter up to three single images for free.
Prizes include $5,000, top Sony digital imaging equipment and so much more.
The Open competition rewards outstanding single images across ten (10) categories. Photographers should consider the category description when entering their work. Judges are looking for good composition, creativity, and clear photographs.
